Hello from Calamity Peak Lodge, we hope you our guest are doing well this year and are ready to spend some time with us here.

With the COVID 19 epidemic impact this year we understand that everyone has had to adjust to a new style of living. We want everyone to know that we here at Calamity Peak Lodge have made that adjustment as well and are ready for our guest to come stay with us. We have acquired the necessary tools and product to be able to deep clean and sanitize our units in between guest. We are follow all CDC, and local health department recommendations. Social distancing can and will be maintained for all guest while they are visiting Calamity Peak Lodge.

The Black Hills area is vast and very open allowing plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Some service will be limited by the area attraction and activities. Custer State Park, MT. Rushmore, Wind Cave, and Jewel Cave Parks and Monuments remain open for all to enjoy the outdoor areas. Visitor Centers and other structures may remain close though. For the best up to date info on what is and is not open can be found on each Park or Monuments web site.

We still plan to open for lodging on the second weekend in May through second weekend in October. We hope everyone will be able to join us as they have planned. Thank you Joe and Lori Harrison.

We have raised our rates $5.00 per night per unit. We do have a 2 night minium stay in all our kitchen units going forwarded.
